This paper simulates a geometric reconstruction of the alveolar space to quantify how much each resident immune cell population contributes to clearing inhaled Aspergillus fumigatus conidia, decomposing cell-level uptake dynamics to explain the aggregate, tissue-level course of early infection in the lung.
